The forum, which is held annually to create an environment that brings together the elite of the business commu- nity in the real estate sector with decision makers, experts and economic analysts, to discuss the latest real estate finance mechanisms adopted globally, which would encourage businessmen to invest and take the opportunities presented locally in Libya.

It has been very successful in launching many projects and initiatives on the sidelines, such as the establishment of Tadawul Real Estate Fund, the first real estate fund in Libya, in addition to discus- sing a number of state-owned investment projects in partnership with the private sector, and others important initiatives.

The forum discussed the development of the Libyan real estate sector in order to activate its ability to face the challenges, resolve major crises facing the country in this era. Also, to provide a realistic analysis of the achievements and challenges related to real estate development, provi- de solutions to investment constraints, which contributes to link government efforts, and to achieve sustainable real estate development.
